These gun nuts blow each other's brains out by accident every day. Nothing to see here. At least he was a red-blooded "good guy with a gun."

Apples and oranges.

Car is a lot more useful. I can't drive a gun to work. Unlike a car, the whole point of a gun is to be able to kill something.

A car can't keep pigs from destroying a crop.

A car can't put meet on the table.

A car can't stop a criminal who is breaking into your home.

You can certainly drive it down a sidewalk on the way there killing a whole bunch of people. Stop blaming objects for the actions of people.

The car won't cure stupid.
There are thousands of accidents every year, often fatal, from people doing stupid things.
Texting while driving? I am amazed that there aren't more fatalities.
Feeding sharks by hand? Yeah that is smart.
Rock climbing without safety equipment.
You name the sport, hobby or object and a stupid person has found a way to kill or injure someone else while doing it.
That car driving your wife to the hospital? How many accidents have happened from panicked husbands driving their loved one to the hospital in an emergency?

True, but failing to pass a vision, written, and field test will stop you from legally operating one.

Even if you have a drivers license, failure to carry it while driving may result in a fine and arrest.

Failing to possess insurance will get a hefty fine, and failing to register it with the state will also get you a fine and possible revocation of your drivers license.

Going out and randomly shooting a person is illegal and land you in prison.

You see, we have laws already to stop it.

You're comparing driving without insurance to murdering someone because you have no argument.

Weak sauce
