Well, they've got vouchers buried in this new legislation, too, just in case you missed it. If successful, unless very well off, future retirees will be without health insurance in their old age. No profit-driven insurance company wants to insure old, sick people.

Eventually they'll be going after the retirement accounts, as well. They just tried it this year. They won't give up.

They're gradually chipping away at the futures of everyone - college students, workers, retirees. Can't deduct school loans, can't deduct medical expenses, can't deduct property taxes, reduce taxable income by pennies with the so-called enhanced standard deduction but then take away the personal exemptions. Tried to take away the tax benefits of IRAs. Appears they would like everyone uneducated, ill, and living under a bridge in their old age. And, they're so blatant about it - because they know their suckers.

That's Republicans for you.

This sort of thing is like trying to encourage gays to vote to vote Republican by pointing out there have been instances of radical Muslims beheading gays and throwing gays off of tall buildings.

Both have a reverse effect.
"trying to encourage gays to vote to vote Republican"

You might want to look up Log Cabin Republicans.

It might save you from embarrassing yourself, AGAIN!

I see liberals still don't understand what a "cut" is...they'll never learn.

I can't see how this is going to work out for Rs.

If they manage to pass this dreadful tax bill, always a possibility, then they have to live with the consequences.

It won't take effect for a year or so and by that time the story of how they sold out their constituents will be told far and wide.

But whether it will make any difference remains to be seen.

Alabama election should be a test of sorts. Here's a guy who was banned from the mall and twice from serving on the bench, and Rs may elect him to the Senate.

Personal attach, much? Try staying on topic, so as not to embarrass yourself.

Not embarrassed because if you look hard enough you will find me posting about the Log Cabin Republicans during the Romney campaign and Peter Thiel this last cycle. Really, just stay on topic. Don't lose credibility.

A) Age does not have to equal sick, except for the fat assed, whose lazy lifestyles condemn them to poor quality final years.

B) So silly to repeat this shallow, Boo! Let's try scare tactics.

C) Everyone needs to tow their own weight, middle, young and old. So, you youngsters need to pay for the needlessly ill of all ages. You folks in the middle need to subsidize those who went before. The old fogey's need hikes in their medicare premiums; you know quit freeloading. Oh wait, any number of articles are pointing to 23% - 30% premium increases.

Take your demagoguing some place where it will be believed. Like your local liberal arts college campus.
