That is the most common mistake you Trumpees make, you equate the ability to make money with being smart. Not necessarily true, we have all known some really stupid people in our lives who were dumb as a rock, but they had one skill, and it was making money.

I know a man who couldn't even write his own name, and had the vocabulary of a 10 year old, but he made a fortune in the recycling business. He ended up owning a string of wrecking yards, but still had a very low IQ.

Donald Trump has one skill, he is a salesman coupled with being a con man of the first degree. But if you listen to him speak, or look at some of his logic, he is dumber than a turnip. Those are things he can not hide.

In 2016 Trump faced more allegations and scandals than any Presidential candidate ever.
Plus he regularly ignored the advice of Kellyanne Conway and Newt Gingrich.
They kept telling him to stay on message, but instead he kept attacking his haters on twitter.
People everywhere were saying Trump was throwing away his chances of winning.
But Trump knew better than everyone else.
No man in world history could have overcome all those scandals, no man other than President Trump.

The vocabulary he used in that interview was completely appropriate to the setting and topics he discussed. There was not a single word that seemed odd or out of place. What is odd is you thinking you can assign an exact IQ score based on a short conversation about real estate.

He was born extremely wealthy and inherited a real-estate business.

He had a lot of help from Russia to get him into his position as President.

He's the least popular president in history.

He hasn't improved with age.

It wouldn't matter who the President is.....if the mainstream media is constantly linking Russia to the American President, of course the polls will be low (in addition to the fact that he won the election despite Hillary leading in nearly all the swing states, according to the media polls - so can we really rely on polls to measure Trump?).
And even when Obama had the media in his pocket (and no Russian scandal), the Gallup poll showed the following-
2011 Aug 8-14: 40%
2011 Aug 15-21: 40%
2011 Aug 22-28: 40%
2011 Sep 12-18: 40%
2011 Oct 3-9: 40%
2013 Nov 18-24: 40%
2013 Dec 16-22: 40%
2014 Jan 13-19: 40%
2014 Feb 10-16: 40%

The young Trump was soft-spoken and mellow compared to today's bombastic lout Trump. Isn't it usually the other way around?

It's amazing how some will point this out - money, good-looking wife and a position (that he attained through trickery). How shallow do some have to be to feel this is what makes a person? The guy is deeply flawed and has nothing to offer.

However the OP missed a couple things. #1 he admits that its a 102 IQ-IE higher then average. Additionally the OP bases this on one interview. Watch more. Trump USED to be quite articulate. Its a stark contrast with today.
As mentioned, he inherited $$ and a R. E. job, then had failed businesses, bankruptcies, cheated others out of pay or tricking some out of money and not paying taxes. And this is being successful? He's a shyster.

To mention, I had read of an instance when he had taken out a woman during the 80's and when their dinner was over, he had no money to pay for it, so she had to pay. He told her he "would pay her back", but nothing came of it. She stated how he did not seem smart or mature and not gentlemanly. Big surprise. (Maybe it was that they did not hit it off, so he didn't care to pay for dinner). 😏

It does not matter how much money one has or how their partner looks if being a phony liar, unkind, ingenuine, thoughtless, unintelligent and otherwise lacking, but it seems that some do not know that.

I will say, what appeared differently 37 years ago was his speaking with more fluidity. Now he has more of a flat tone in his voice and usually yelling, with obvious speaking and reading issues, besides the constant hand gestures and facial expressions. Ugh. I don't think it matters what his I Q might be.
