Watch the video and you will hear him address the problem and more. He's a brilliant guy who is unfairly portrayed in the media. Can't imagine why so many are afraid to think for themselves. Fear of the truth? Instead you criticize his appearance. He never did drugs and only drank during his last marriage to an alcoholic bipolar druggie. His drug of choice seems to be food in large quantities although now he's on a doctor's diet.

Here's what you seem to be struggling with, Bannon is believed by many, and, many, simply do not believe him. This conflicting belief quagmire is the foundation-- for all divisive politics, a divided nation, and, eventually, the country that has been wished for by those who seek to overcome our democracy with a perpetually conflicted populace--Then, and only then, can that force begin a long and painful march backward into a sordid history which guaranteed a royal (upper class) prosperity to the detriment of the masses.
The English social system was what the founders were trying to counter, a system of political favoritism which rewarded the royal robber class with the power of rule. The fact that we now have something which looks like this ruling class in DC, hasn't gone over the heads of many in the working ranks, their brain dead answer to this construct? Well, they went to the aid of a billionaire in his quest for more political power.
On the subject at hand: Steve Bannon more than likely has some racist thoughts, why? Simply because so many racists are solidly behind him, are we to think that this gaggle of meatheads are really that divorced from Steve's views? That they are just deluded people who have failed to see the REAL Steve? Regardless of his views on race--He is a dangerous man just because he would gladly circumvent that pesky notion of democracy and insist that we listen to him for our national direction--Oh, BTW, there is a ton of Steve's in both parties, just so you know that, all are not in the camp of stupid political party cheerleader...
