So, does anyone Moderator cut: flaming really think Obama was going to shove Marxism down the throats of the GOP congress he faced for 6 years?

Putting people to work was the New Deal . Obama was the job killer and hindered the economy but spent millions to advertise to go get your food stamps.

Old Gringo speaks the truth. People may ask how I know this. Well, I have lived in Texas, and now I don't. It's that simple. "Marxism" is a bogeyman that people drag out when they do not understand anything about economics.

"Hindered the economy?" "Spent millions to advertise to go get your food stamps?" Really? Can you back up this assertion with any actual, verifiable facts, or is this something you heard on Rush Limbaugh?

I don't think he was a Fabian socialist at all. He was a neoliberal. Cornel West agrees with me about this.

Marxist is a dirty word reserved for people that extreme conservatives dislike. It doesn’t really mean “Marxism”. It’s like they called women they didn’t like “witches”. She wasn’t really a witch, but it sounds good. There is also overlap between “communists” and “liberals” despite being fundamentally different.
