The outrage isn't just because someone killed someone -- of course that is frustrating, horrible, devastating....but the outrage will happen if this young man is caught, tried and let free with no consequences.

Call me when that happens.
And there lies the difference. It is tragic that an officer was shot and killed. That mentioned, the killer will likely face justice. On the other hand, we have plenty of instances where the police have shot people and they're back on the job. No charges.

I'll answer it for you......"That's not what the NRA is about".
That's what made it the "dumbest post of the day."

If you actually want an answer...the answer is never.
Just like if you asked when was the last time a fish climbed a tree.

That's starting to change because of the actions of those who have brought this to the nations attention.

Why shouldn't they take up causes other than the ones they do if others are expected to?

All for the same reason. It's not what they do.

There was a good reason the Stockade, Guillotine, Gallows.... Were constructed on the main town square, so everyone would witness.

For the record, I am outraged about that one, too. Long as we're keeping track.

Sadly accurate.
