Why should we?

The correct answer, of course, is that we shouldn't.
These nitwits would have us believe that any person for any reason should be able to just squat in this country. A nation without borders and control of whom enters is no longer a nation, but rather a wasteland between other nations. Just as a home without locks on the doors and an open invitation to anyone will quickly become looted and destroyed.

If the Trump Administration was serious about this issue they would have ICE down in Houston en masse checking the status of the thousands of construction workers employed there following Harvey. But they won't, because then who would rebuild Houston?

This just proves this is an issue that no one in this administration really cares about. It's just something to keep the dupes fired up about.

If anyone thinks that wall inspectores, border agents, DEA, CIA and all the associated human beings aren't going to smuggle people, dope and anything else.....you are fooling yourselves.

Like - who would trade weapons to Iran and to murder people in Central America for Hostages? Oh, yeah, Reagan and his entire admit would.......

We could sure use the billions that have disappeared (lots of very wealthy ex-military and CIA, etc) during Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm an honest man but if I were poor and the boxes of cash were being sent out every day to the Arab villages for doling out....I think I'd skim a bit.

And therein lies the problem. Texans will NEVER pass a law doing away with their modern slavery. If you take all the interests and put them together there is MUCH more interest in having hard working immigrant labor and other such benefits than some silly Trumpie Talking Point of "The Wall that Mexicans will pay for". Trade, for one example.

I hate to call people names - maybe I could call them innocents or know-nothings. But if the immigration problem wanted to be addressed, the Congress was almost ready for comprehensive reform - torpedoed by the GOP. And, as in the past the GOP will talk and will fool their Trumpie Trumpeters while doing nothing....which puts MONEY in everyone pocket....well, except the forgotten men and women who don't matter.

Sooner or later it will sink it. No one wants to solve problems here. The "solution" to everything is profit and growth and the people be damned. Heck, we could just sell more firearms and fix the economy that way.
