I have to say I think they need to stop third-world immigration from Mexico, Central America and refugee countries because it has been shown time and time again to be a big mess and waste of resources.

I do think with the amount of American's who look like they live rough and unhealthy lifestyles, I wouldn't have a problem with open-borders from poorer eastern European countries and Russia.

I had a roommate when I was in California for training who was from a poor area of Romania and he was far more attractive and intelligent than most Americans and he was concerned about immigration issues.

I also have heard men complain about having issues with bringing Russian and Eastern European brides over who have more traditional values than what we have in America today.

If you want to keep the U.S. a western nation, this may be the only way to ensure that result.

Otherwise, its culture will become very mixed in the future (for better or worse).

Mexicans aren't Westerners?

Strictly speaking, no. Mexicans have Latin American culture.

Do you see the contradiction?

The population of the US has more than doubled in my lifetime. We don't need immigration from anywhere. What is badly needed is a long moratorium on all immigration.

Im for raising the bar. Demonstrate financial capability, clean background check, have skills we need.
What we don't need are any more charity cases.

Email your Congressmen to support the Raise Act which addresses and corrects the problem with LEGAL immigration from anywhere. Better yet, google and read the provisions in Tom Cotton's excellent bill. Common sense.

I believe in open immigration from Europe.

If they are smart, they will stay away.
