Because th elist is supposed to be state sponsors of terror, yet it contains countries with no history of sponsoring terrorism and leaves out the biggest sponsors.
Change the name of the list to reflect what's actually on it, or change the countries on the list so that it actually has something to do with terrorism.
If you have a gripe with other countries being on the list or off the list, that's really another issue but North Korea does qualify as a sponsor of international terrorism. The list may be and probably is faulty but let's not give North Korea a break just because you don't like the list.
North Korea sponsors a grand total of zero terrorist organizations. It’s not bad enough that Trump is a moron, but he clearly doesn’t listen to the smart people.
The fact that Saudi Arabia was never on that list makes all previous lists laughable. You might as well change the names to "countries the US doesn't like".
you are dead right. Well said. It is hard to believe any higher level politicians believe this is anything but Trump trying to create a feel of progress in a situation where he has made zero progress.
If i were the despotic ruler of a smaller nation that had the tech to try to get nukes and thought i could pull it off? I would do it right away. because over the last 50 years we have invaded , decapitated , subverted nation after nation.
it is the only way to be safe from US or Russian aggression.

Or Trump's new pal Duterte from the Philippines. He can't help his people find work that pays a livable wage but he will kill them if they use drugs.
Bush took them off the list, and now Trump put them back on because they have assassinated people. Are political assassinations terrorism? I don't know, but CIA needs to be careful taking out our enemies, because otherwise they will become a terror organization based on Trump's definition.
Trump said that North Korea has "repeatedly" sponsored acts of terrorism, including "assassinations on foreign soil."
Good on Trump.

I disagree with you, but understand where you get your airbag talking points. I've heard them all before.
Saudi Arabia is not the solution.
Saudi Arabia is one stop on the way to the solution.
As with so many things, the real underlying issue is that Trump did it! - This seems to automatically drive the enraged left to declare whatever he does, 'today's outrage.'
When the left automatically declares everything Trump does "outrageous," the rest of us laugh and ignore their constant angst. Even when they seem to actually have a point, their persistent state of 'outrage' undercuts any sense of credibility they might otherwise have.

Which terrorist organizations do they sponsor?
