these are easy yes no questions OP..
Finally someone is acknowledging it. Republicans are only interested in Republicans. In fact, because there are so few Republican senators in blue states, the Senate tax bill removes State and Local Taxes as a deduction because they literally are at war with blue states and figure there is no risk to their senators. The GOP owns everything that is happening. Every.single.thing.

Yes, they say dems haven't been able to participate, but I've also heard that a few dem senators discussed the issue with President Trump. Regardless of their ability to participate, you'd think they would be pushing their own ideas forward.

Why do we have to lower taxes? The debt is already ballooned no need to make it worse for no reason. Wages need to rise on the bottom end otherwise our demand situation will not improve supply-side stimulus simply will not do anything of value to the economy

Their ideas don't include tax cuts for the wealthy and big corps, so what's the point? That's obviously one of the GOP's main goals....the other being screwing people in blue states.

Trump has called them to try to get them to vote for the GOP tax bill. They are not getting to participate in any meaningful way whatsoever. This is all GOP run and owned. The Trump/GOP tax plan will apparently personally save Trump a billion dollars. Trump called Democrats and tried to convince them otherwise.

Trump and his family could save more than $1 billion under House tax bill

One other thing if you understand how the legislative process works and who runs the committee's then you will understand why Democrats have no ability right now to bring any legislation to vote

Itís a little more complicated than that. Youíre supposed to direct deposit your paycheck to the US Treasury and wait for further instructions.

The GOP tax plan will increase the deficit $1.7 TRILLION. The same GOP that hates the country getting health coverage because of the deficit, is suddenly fine with a trillion dollar deficit increase if it means giving the wealth huge tax cuts.

I know the roles of Brady and Hatch. That doesn't stop dems from announcing their ideas directly to the American people.
