Truml and DOJ are going to get smashed in court.

They're setting themselves up to get embarrassed with this lawsuit

Trump has tweeted various messages trashing CNN. Monopolies are bad but I don't believe for a second that he is opposing the merger out of concern for protection of American consumers, which would actually be a good reason. That is especially true given his disgraceful track record of signing legislation that allows internet companies to sell individuals' personal information without their consent, along with many other legislators (in this case straight down Republican party lines). The motivation is because he has a personal vendetta against CNN and he's using his position to go after them.

As far as the company being unionized, good for them if that's the way the company is structured.

This is the saddest thing happening. They have kinda turned everything into resist instead of going with thoughtful approach.

Leftists LOVE monopolies when they are ran by Fascist Progressives. God forbid a company owned by a Conservative wants to do this they will shout from the rooftops about monopolies again. Funny that they talk about NN raising cable bills, but nothing about this. Prices WILL skyrocket once they are the only game in town. That's what government cronyism does.

I have no idea if the guy who runs att is a liberal or a conservative but it doesn’t matter. The law applies which is something Cult 45 and Dear Leader always overlook which is one reason why trumps EOs keep being upended in the courts.

Also, att stopped building uverse when they bought Direct, so this deal really has little to do with any “cable monopoly”. This merger won’t bring anymore distribution capacity to att.

I prefer the companies remain separate too. I don't see the consolidation as necessarily a good thing for the consumers.

But Trump seems to always show his petty and vindictive hand, he is definitely an idiot.

LOL at the amazing ignorance. Of course, there's a legal reason for this.

And this is Time-Warner, not CNN.
