An easier solution would be to call the bank hotline and have the withdrawal limit raised to however much you wanted.

The world belongs to those who would take the extra step to reach their goals, not those who are just going along for the ride.

Those who know me know that I don't give up easily. If I have my mind set on something, I will go the extra mile to get it. While the steps in my OP seem too troublesome, to me it was worth the effort. I bet the other guys just went home and waited for their banks to open the next morning

This was Sunday evening. Tried it. They could only do that during business hours.

"Oh, by the way, did I mention that I'm black?"

Are you a big, ferocious looking black man? Big and tall like a football player. Maybe your size intimidates them?

Interesting. Actually, I'm somewhat surprised you were able to charge 20 successive charges of over $100 at Walmart without a fraud alert resulting in the card being declined. THAT would tend to be considered VERY high risk activity by any financial institution, considerably more so (IMO) than requesting a temporary ATM withdrawal limit increase to $2000.

Business, including Walmart, have a right to detain someone for police, if they suspect they are stealing from their store.
