And yes, if you are going to argue against the other party, then I am going to call you a Leftist.
Look at you man... rushing to defend people who put lives in danger to make a few bucks. And bashing a party whose presidents, as far as I know, never defended an accused pedophile for political reasons. It takes some serious cognitive dissonance for people like yourself to act like you have the high ground.

You miss the point. the guy is now working for us not Lily. that is a good thing. He knows his way around.

Prefer a political academic philosopher?

Look what Obama and the dems imposed on us, Obamacare and they did it with lies and using the nuclear option, candidate Obama in 2008 said he would never do.

So much for choices when Ezekiel Emanuel, the medical ethicist for the ppaca screwed us over. Mike Wallace once asked EZM to explain Obama's promise that 'you can keep your doctor.......'.

The brother of Rahm then said what Obama meant was, 'you can keep your doctor, if you can afford to keep your doctor'... so much for Obama emphasizing that his statement was without qualification and absolute.

I know you liberal Leftists believe every propaganda that fakenews such as politic.com disseminates and are slaves to identity politics but people are not forever tainted by their previous positions. You should judge Azar for the job he will be doing as the HHS secretary and not prejudge him with your prejudices (I thought the Left was against prejudice but yet they prejudge people all the time.)
This has got to be the best joke post of the day.

Funny how Trump worshipping fools view themselves as "unbiased".

Takes a really "special" person to be this self deluded.

"HHS is a cabinet-level department of the U.S. federal government with the goal of protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United...Human_Services

Who should run the HHS a medical doctor or a former drug company executive?

"Alex Azar was formerly the United States Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services under George W. Bush from 2005 to 2007."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Azar

After leaving the United States Department of Health and Human Services in 2007 Azar moved on to a high-level position at Eli Lilly.
Trump HHS Pick Alex Azar Has Deep Drug Industry Ties | Fortune

"During Azar’s tenure, Eli Lilly raised the prices on its insulins in the United States by 20.8 percent in 2014, 16.9 percent in 2015, and 7.5 percent in 2016. When Azar started working at Eli Lilly in June 2007, the list price for a vial of Humalog insulin was $74. When he quit in January 2017, it was $269."
https://www.thenation.com/article/al...with-diabetes/

Do you believe Alex Azar is a good choice to fill a government position that protects the health of all Americans and provides essential human services to American citizens?

Alex Azar also made about $2 million dollars a year at Eli Lilly from 2007-2017. Do you believe Azar will still have loyalty to drug companies after they made him a very rich man?

And "when Azar worked as a senior vice president in charge of corporate affairs and communications, Eli Lilly’s lobbying of federal officials and Congress surged. The firm’s payments for internal and outside lobbying rose from $4.2 million in 2007 to $12.4 million in 2008 and $11.2 million in 2009."

Do you believe a man made rich by drug companies and a man who influenced Washington politics in favor of drug companies with millions of dollars is going to change his ways and become loyal to American citizens in need of health services (instead of being loyal to the drug companies that for the last 9 years he fought for, with those same companies making him a very rich man) ??

No, unless what he did was illegal, it was not cheating. He worked for a private company. Unbelievable that a private company would prioritize profits. How horrible.

Good grief. If we can't ascertain a person's suitability for a job from his previous work experience, just what criteria should we use?
Again, unless it was illegal, I don’t know what he did that was wrong? It is a private company. It is their goal to make money, not provide free or cheap drugs for the public benefit. Making money and maximizing profits legally is not wrong or immoral. Because you Lefties hate capitalism, you automatically look at people making profits as evil. The problem lies within your own bias not the people working to make money.

And nothing you've provided says he is not a good choice.

Here’s some news to you Lefties Trump haters: just because people don’t believe or do things like you want or that you agree with, i.e. slaves to political correctness and identity politics are wrong or bad.

Trump runs his administration the way he sees fit, just like when Obama filled his administration with his people like he saw fit.
