Again, unless it was illegal, I don’t know what he did that was wrong? It is a private company. It is their goal to make money, not provide free or cheap drugs for the public benefit. Making money and maximizing profits legally is not wrong or immoral. Because you Lefties hate capitalism, you automatically look at people making profits as evil. The problem lies within your own bias not the people working to make money.
There is legal and then there is moral. And never the twain shall meet in Trumpland.
Again, someone who tripled the price of a drug that millions of people need to survive because he can legally do it--the hell with the immorality of it--is a person we should all feel comfortable entrusting with the goal of "protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services?"
Only in Trumpland is capitalism over morality considered a virtue.

So a pharmaceutical company should not maximize profits because to do so is immoral?
It is not Trumpland. This country was built on capitalism. If you don’t like capitalism, go live in the Vatican. (Oops I forgot, sorry you Lefties don’t like the church.)
Do you go to work hoping to earn the least possible so that you won’t be immoral?

True, but you're reacting in a "kneejerkly" manner to it. That's one to add to my lexicon for sure.
Yes, TRIPLING the price of a drug that millions of people depend on for their very lives in order to increase profits is immoral. The fact that you refuse to see that is why we call the cult deplorable. You're living down to that label with every post.
What’s immoral is folks like you telling a private entity what their product is worth.

The argument is whether someone who lives in that realm should be part of the government. The answer is no.
Did he have much to do with the raising price of insulin? According to this article the raise probably started long before him and it more industry wide.
Quote:
Among patients using insulin, the average amount used each year went from 171 milliliters (mL) in 2002-2004 to 206 mL in 2011-2013.
The average price of insulin increased 197 percent, from $4.34 to $12.92 per mL, during that time.
Quote:
The researchers say the price of insulin is unlikely to decline because of the regulations and cost involved with bringing comparable products to the market.
The argument is whether someone who lives in that realm should be part of the government. The answer is no.
That’s your biased Leftist argument and answer. The more fairer argument is why someone who works in a perfectly legal industry is automatically barred from serving in the government. The argument can also be made that it takes someone from that very industry to know how to regulate that industry.
The Left were using the same baseless argument against the picking of Rex Tillerson as SOS because of his former job at Exxon but so far he’s doing a good job and there is now nary a peep from the Left anymore about him enriching himself using his new position in the administration like they were claiming would happen. Same with Devos, Perry, and pretty much anyone Trump picked. Of course, you won’t hear from them when they are wrong. They just go on lobbing the same failed accusations against the next Trump appointee.
The ridiculous Left don’t even want to see their own ridiculousness.
