I think it's a fear of big entities overall. Some people worry about the government becoming too powerful, some people worry about the power large corporations can wield. Or both.

I don't think it's entirely unreasonable for people to worry that someone accustomed to squeezing as much money as possible out of people (especially medicine, which many people are captive customers of) wouldn't magically transition to operating to serve the people in the best way possible.

There are so many different laws and legal loopholes, that it'd take an unbiased legal analysis to confidently deem that he won't maintain any ties whatsoever to his former company, including via friends or family.

Don’t make excuses for them. It’s just kneejerk hate of everything Trump does. Just read all the snide comments here so far. They’re not worried about Azar or HHS at all. They just want to bash Trump on anything he does or say. Look at all the Trump bash threads on this forum alone. They are so consumed with hate. He says he wants to build the wall and they are against that but when he hasn’t built the wall yet (in 10 months) they bash him for not building it. There is no reasoning with the hateful narrowminded Left.

That's a fair point. I personally think Trump has done some good things, and when people mindlessly bash him personally for everything, it takes away from valid complaints about some of his policies/decisions.

I know you liberal Leftists believe every propaganda that fakenews such as politic.com disseminates and are slaves to identity politics but people are not forever tainted by their previous positions. You should judge Azar for the job he will be doing as the HHS secretary and not prejudge him with your prejudices (I thought the Left was against prejudice but yet they prejudge people all the time.)
lol, nonsense.

Pai is a tool of corps. Listen to the Cohn interviews ref the tax plan. The fool has admitted the plan is for corps.

Pai will be getting his reward in a couple of years. Some plum board seats and back dated options, just like the rest of them.

Cohn will go back to Goldman sachs a damn hero .

meanwhile you will pay more for everything , pay more taxes and get few services.

not only guarding it but DESIGNING it. The 3 Goldman sachs boys have put together a tax cut plan that will allow "elites" to restructure and take advantage of this new plan on a scale the USA has never seen before.

AMT, estate taxes, corp , pass through, it is a bonanza for the top few percent.

I can tell you i have many posts and threads raising the Issue of PAI and his purposeful destruction of the FCC. The FCC is there to protect the public interest. Pai is using it to protect and support his cronies.

Just look at how Pai is removing the restrictions on ownership in order to facilitate the same company that made a deal with the Trump campaign to Promote Trump on their stations. this is the quid pro quo
in action.
It is no wonder there are calls from the left for an investigation. Pai is blatantly paying spectrum back .

Pai is not motivated by some political agenda, he is carry water for cable, cell, TV and everything else under the FCC. Pai will get paid off handsomely when he steps down. backdated options and at least a couple of seats.

as for bashing trump for not building the wall. You need to stop and think. Are they mocking him for failing to deliver or are angry he has not built it?

i think we both know the answer. Dems don't want the wall, but they also love shoving Trump's failed first year directly into the faces of his supporters.
And why wouldn't they? Trump has been getting dumber and nastier rather than rising to the occasion. And his supporters are getting more and more bitter as they see Trump's lies and misdeeds catching up and Trump failing to get anything done because nobody worth their salt is willing to work with him.

Tens of thousands of highly skilled republicans have decided to stay in or return to the private sector. They don't want their life's work to be degraded. They don't want the stench of Trump on their name. Tens of thousands, enmasse effectively said ""bugger off i would rather be unemployed than in trump's admin."""

What a bunch of intolerant Nazis and fascists the Left is.
Yet you seem to be the only person name calling. That means you have lost the argument.

A progressive who supported hillary is all of a sudden interested in morality? LMAO As if being for either of those is moral. You can't make this stuff up.

A Trumpling pointing a moral finger at anyone = ridiculous on multiple levels.

But very amusing.
