Anybody here going to be sharing Thanksgiving with family / friends in this position; half the family Trump supporters, the other half not?
If so, how are you going to handle it?
Yes, My church family anyway. We have a Thanksgiving dinner every year. I'll handle it the same way I do any other time, hug them and tell them I'm glad to see them (because I am), and probably talk about the game that will be on later.
I disagree. I'd say my family is about 80% Trump supporters with the rest of us voting "other" or not voting at all.
Politics can be a touchy subject, obviously...so I'm certainly not going to bring it up. I still love my parents even though they voted for Donald Trump.

I'm very lucky. No one in my family is deranged. Even the one Republican (he married into the family) is sane enough to despise the P*u*s*s*y-Grabber-In Chief. He sat out the election because he could not vote for his party's candidate last fall.
My deepest condolences to anyone who has deranged cultists in their midst.
You're saying it a parody showing how the criticism of Trump is overblown by suggesting an over-the-top response?
That is how the article would be satire. It would start with a false premise, in this case the egregious actions of Trump, and then the cartoon response of ruining Thanksgiving.
So, do you agree with the author's "parody" and agree as to the silliness of the Trump overblown criticism?
