Could be.

Have you listened to that legal crew of Trump's? I wouldn't trust them either.

The Predator in Chiefs lawyers are following the Nixon plan when it comes down to what is going on. Setting up this legal defense fund to keep the remaining staff from making deals is pretty corrupting. Nixon lawyers tried it and in the end it did not work out well for him. As time goes on the good lawyers know when to fold.

Going to jail is a lot different then trying to pay some legal fees.

..

According to Trump's attorneys, "Trump has begun paying his own legal bills related to the Russia investigation and will no longer cover the costs using political donations to his re-election campaign or the Republican Party."

Trump campaign no longer paying Donald Trump Jr.'s legal bills: Report

Seems Trump Jr. and paid campaign staff people will have their bills paid for our of a special, soon-to-be-created fund as soon as the attorneys can figure out how to do it so it doesn't look like hush money.

"Stay Strong" sounds like a message for Flynn to 'stick with the story, stay loyal'.

Flynn says Trump still in contact, told him to

“I just got a message from the president to stay strong,” Yahoo News reported Flynn told supporters following a meal in Virginia.

Trump message to Flynn: “Stay strong.”

White House lawyers have reportedly warned Trump repeatedly not to contact Flynn

One persons opinion and that is all there is; maybe you are right, maybe wrong but time will tell.

The fix is in....Flynn knows he will be pardoned. He is negotiating charges to which he will plead guilty, and avoid a costly trial. Then he gets his pardon. Mueller will turn over info on Flynn to state prosecutors in the hope they can proceed with state charges, from which he cannot get a presidential pardon. A few state AG's have shown an interest in this, but they will be hard-pressed to get a conviction based on most state laws.

Lightbulb Flynn's lawyers ending contact with Trump's team

No doubt Flynn finds himself in a devil's bargain.

He's in a corner with two options and neither is attractive.

He can cooperate with Mueller and put himself and his son in less legal jeopardy or he can take the G Gordon Liddy approach, saying nothing, remaining loyal to an unethical president and finding himself and his son in prison for years.

You can't behave like he has and expect to not face the consequences.

I wonder if Flynn is "falling on his sword " to save his son from going to jail?
