[quote=Mad_Jasper;50225781]Specifically, tinytrump, what criteria of mine for hiring employees would the aforementioned fail to meet?[/QUOTE
Iv they were as poor as they claim- be 0 credit - until they made it -big. 2 -this credit thing is pretty NEW- I’m 65 did not have credit checks until later - then the drug checks came - now some want medical profiles/
Right. And just because it's illegal to ask someone's age during a job interview, you can simply ask the potential employee to voluntarily hand over their driver's license or birth certificate.
Go ahead and do that and see how far you get once reported.
It’s not illegal to ask someone’s age. You are mistaken.
Right now Ca, co, conn, Delaware, Hawaii, IL. MD, NV, OR, VT, Washington -19 states have laws restrict credit inquiries but the above prohibits any employers asking to see it for employment. They survived ! Canada too don’t ask if bills get paid.
Please provide a link that verifies that asking to see a credit report is illegal.
They can ask your date of birth on the job application but the interviewer (who may be a different person) can't outright ask you your age in an interview.
There are no illegal questions. I can ask anything - even age. Horrors!
You're correct, but most places refer to the illegality of asking a person's age - so over the years that lingo has become most used with few parsing the language.
You can ask what you want but if they don't feel it's a valid question for being hired would you automatically disqualify them for the job
Whether or not they feel it is a “valid question” is irrelevant. It is valid if the employer believes it is.
