His brood was floating the idea of 3-star hotels, launching in Mississippi (of all places). Not under the Trump label, "American Idea" or somesuch. The Trump brand was always flash new-money casino-style vulgarity anyway - gold leaf and marble cladding slapped over cinderblock. No wonder he gets along with Russian oligarchs.

Nope. Trump only sold his name to the hotel. Another firm built it. Trump's company managed it after it was built, and now, Trump's management company is buying out of the management contract.

Why? For the same reason Trump just closed down his charity foundation. Mueller is after him for financial hanky-panky, and Trump needs to show the money that isn't supposed to be coming to him personally is not coming, as he claimed on his taxes. Trump has a way of borrowing from himself in ways that hide the transfers.

The hotel never did the business the owners expected it to do from the first. That the owners want to change names now is not the primary reason for the change in management. Trump needed to dump all his ties to the hotel fast, for reasons yet undisclosed.

This is the line the Trump monies are being traced by Mueller:
Flynn to Jared Kushner to Trump.

Flynn has flipped, and his lawyers are no longer talking to Trump's lawyers. Since Flynn and his son are facing major prison time, there's a plea bargain in the works. Kushner knows stuff Flynn does not, so Trump is dumping all his ties before Mueller's team begin questioning Kushner.

Expect to see more Trump branded properties to go soon. Some were probably being used to launder Russian money when they were built or managed.

That's all right. He's going down - and he's going to take the entire neo-NAZI GOP with him,
Mueller is closing in.

Pass the popcorn.

Ken
Thanks, Ken.

He deserves to lose.

This is GOOD.

He appears to be the absolute biggest jerk that ever existed on the planet.

As anyone who can afford $250/night hotel rooms most certainly will recognize soon enough.
