He’s been calling her that for a long time now, that is not the problem (today). The problem is he couldn’t resist throwing it in during this ceremony. It was a totally irrelevant, childish slur in this context. It goes to reinforce how totally clueless and immature he is.

The man is an embarrassment to the office and to the nation.

Poor taste but Trump lacks class anyway.

His supporters like his behavior. It’s as though it gives them hope that they can attain much no matter how ignorant they choose to be.

People seem to forget hes like no other President, nor was he elected to be PC or "Presidential"; quite the opposite.

there's a large gap between simply not being PC and F'ing up a ceremony to honor two WWII vets.

I don't see anyone forgetting that.

If only we could. Instead we have to be embarrassed everyday by the most crass, ignorant president ever.

I get that he doesn't like Elizabeth Warren, and I'm not going to defend her. I also don't see "Pocahontas" as a "racial slur."

But does he have to bring this up in a ceremony commemorating the valor and sacrifices of Navajo veterans?

It's not about it being disrespectful to Sen. Warren; it's disrespectful to them - the people he's supposed to be celebrating. Trump's beef with Sen. Warren has nothing to do with them! Why is he infesting the event with his own petty garbage?

Whether Sen. Warren deserves it or not, the real issue is that Trump is a classless individual who clearly is incapable of the maturity to take the high road, even for a moment, and not make every event all about himself.

You cons supporting this sick behavior is...well, disgusting. If you don't find this to be highly inappropriate, then you are a defective, sick individual.
