It's just an example of the right wing attempting to smear someone who is more honest than Trump will ever be or can ever be.

Trump--the guy who pretended to be John Miller, Trump's PR person in order to promote Trump's popularity with Madonna. Though he totally admitted it at the time, he lied about it during his campaign, forgetting that he already admitted to it.

Trump the huckster, Trump the liar, Trump who lies 75% of the time. Trump, who's BS and lies are far too many to even list on one page. The guy who apologized for his Access Hollywood comments on camera, and who now is suggesting that his image and is voice on videotape is a 'fake.'

You see what is happening? His cult swallows every lie he spews. His staff both defends his lies and lies for him, sullying their own reputations. So now he has the hubris to believe he can lie any time he wants and the rest of us will simply let him get away with it. Forget that. Trump is a lying phony and nothing will change that fact. Not Breitbart, not Fox News, not Hannity, not Sarah Huckabee, not his enabling cult following. Trump is a lying phony.

When I heard this sound clip, I immediately had a fantasy. It's 2020 and Trump and Warren are in the third presidential debate. Warren starts babbling about diversity and how bigoted trump is. Trump then pulls a head dress out of his lectern and proceeds to do a dance and chant around Warren.

Fauxcahontas contributed two recipes to a cookbook, Pow Wow Chow, years ago. She claimed they had been handed down from her Cherokee ancestors.

Cold Crab Omelet was plagiarized -- is anyone surprised? -- from the NY Times. It was a famous dish at a high end NYC restaurant and the favorite of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and song writer Cole Porter.

I think it would be great fun if Warren started calling Trump, the faux Swede, "Sven" or "Lars."

I hadn't heard about this before my other posts on here defending here. This is actually kind of messed up. Not unforgiveable. Just...a bit lame.

You consider yourself "somewhat liberal" huh? If the rest of the contents of your post are any indication, I suspect that's a fiction as well.

**For the record, Trump said he was Swedish for decades, because his father told him he came from Swedish immigrants, when they were actually of German ancestry. It's really no different. #MakeDonaldDrumpfagain
It's one thing to relate anecdotal stories that family members related to you, in private conversations with friends and family. It's quite another to knowingly use unverified, undocumented stories from grandma and grandpa on official documents, so you can receive preferential treatment.

I would hazard to guess that every family has it's share of anecdotal stories surrounding the possible origins and life experiences of their ancestors. However, until you can back them up with documented proof, they are nothing but anecdotal stories, not facts.

No need for profanity. Using abbreviations to skirt past the profanity filters is not proper use on this forum.

I dont disagree that the focus should have been kept on the event at hand. My issue is how everything is blown out of proportion. While it is poor taste to reference Warren as Pocahontas blasting it as a racial slur and offense to the entire Native American population is over the top. At the same time people are down playing Warrens misuse of claiming Native American heritage and using that for minority status for any personal gains. If one is going to be offended, disgusted or disappointed at Trumps lack of social etiquette, class or political correctness be so at that. Don't conjure up racism and premeditated insults.

As well the picture of Jackson in the oval office. Do people really believe Trump intentionally had the photo hung just to insult the veterans. Do most people know squat about Jackson? And regardless of Jacksons misgivings, he is a past president and our history as a country including the atrocities against the Native Americans it is what it is, history. I think it is ridiculous that we, today, hold the past to the present and are so offended by history that we want to remove all its reminders and pretend it never happened.
