All the usual high-profile Democratic Senators have announced that they'll withhold support for the spending bill if it doesn't include an amnesty for DACA recipients. To support their efforts, the open-borders lobbying group Partnership for a New American Economy is investing heavily in grassroots lobbying efforts over the next few weeks.

This should work really well for the dumbass democrats, when Trumps goal is to cut the size of domestic government control anyway.

How can such a minor issue be worth shutting down the government for even a second?

The legislature needs to take up DACA separately and not hijack another bill.

Trump has been trying to shut down 17% of the federal government anyway. This time it won't be the national parks.......

Agreed, more than 3/4's of the country is fed up with the Democrats putting illegal aliens ahead of United States citizens. The Dems are so tone deaf. They lost on this issue how many times now? Obama gave an llegal executive order to cover them and it was tossed aside by Trump. In addition, the American people rejected DACA when they elected Trump to the Presidency. If the Dems wanna be the single most pressing issue they take on while we are at the verge of WW3 and have tax reform looming I say let them do it. The MSM will give them cover and the lefty lap dogs will lick it up but, the majority will see it for the hogwash that it is.

Once ICE knows who all the DACA people are and where they live, it will be time to raid their homes to deport all those who live with them.
