Of course. We also had binkies for the little ones until mom could find a decent spot to feed them.
Decent spot: wherever the Mom is. Nice you want to deny helpless babies from eating when hungry because you can’t handle even the slightest sight of a breast (assuming you then do the reasonable thing of not looking if you don’t want to see.)
One gets you internet fame, the other gets you put on a sex offenders registry.
Okay, if you want to get right down to it, I think ruining a guy for life because he peed in an alley once is absurd.
Happy now?
There is still no real comparison between breastfeeding and public urination or defecation. All other considerations aside, the latter is a public health issue.
When men are forced to keep their chests and nipples covered up then I'll worry about women exposing themselves while breastfeeding. Women should have every right to go topless as men do, whether breastfeeding or not.
If you don't like seeing it, look away. Same as I do when I see some man with huge, hairy man boobs going topless.
that is the only argument ass peeing on the ground is the natural function of peeing just as squirting milk into your childs mouth is the natural function of breastfeeding.
The very argument of supporting public breastfeeding is specifically about the natural non sexual functionality of the breast. The same can be said of peeing in public.
There is nothing for others to clean up when a woman breastfeeds. There are no diseases spread when a woman breastfeeds like there has beeb in history where proper sanitation was not used.
Couldn't agree more. There is nothing obscene about breastfeeding or breasts. I think they're pretty, no matter who they belong to. Women aren't always perfectly built, and neither are men. Mothers deserve respect.
As I said below, if you don't like it, don't look.
The more I think about some of the responses here, the more they depress me. For Pete's sake, the image of a mother and her child is one of the most enduring in art, in literature...in everything. It's universal.
Forget her looks, forget her tattoos, forget all of the superficial things. A woman is nurturing - nourishing - her baby. The correct response seems, to me, to be not contempt, but tenderness.

I have three six year old baby nephews and one six year old Godson. We saw a nursing mother once, and I told them, "Boys, stop staring, it is not polite." It is a learning opportunity for us because there are all kinds of people out there. Boys need to be taught the world does not revolve around them.
No more/less.
