Anyway... I think you're correct. And, since homosexuality is genetic, I'm not seeing the trouble with it, but whatever keeps people up freaking out at night, I reckon.
There is no proof that it is "genetic". For every article you can produce, I can produce an equal amount saying it is not "genetic".

No, it isn't. If you read the article, I'm assuming many won't there were objections to it based on per the article:
1. "Summed up in a single word, the movie is about pederasty." I don't know what "pederasty" is, so I can use the dictionary: sex involving a man and a boy.
2. "A secondary message is the suggestion that handsome, together, “straight” men and boys can be seduced and recruited." Following along the lines of "sex before 8 or it's too late" and NAMBLA: https://www.nambla.org/
I also agree that "desensitization" has been going on for some time now when it comes to this matter.
It is my belief having seen homosexuality over a few decades that some are born with a predisposition, others are created either through experimentation or the evolution of the porn that they watch which, in order to keep them interested, introduces them to a "variety" of situations. I think this is not limited to homosexual, but also heterosexuals when it comes to porn. Shaping the desires of their customers is a common business tactic.
Also, those dragging Moore into this, there are "ALLEGATIONS" against Moore, which could also be "fiction" when all is said and done.
Did you see the movie or are just taking this opinion piece as fact for your conclusions?
That's an interesting way to form an opinion.
I will reserve my judgement until I see the movie.
I don't need to see a movie about romanticizing boy/man love to know we have had plenty of that go on in society in real life to know it is condemned. I won't be seeing this propaganda and that is all it is, propaganda to make it ok. Give it an Oscar and say you are narrow minded not to go along with it.
Yeah... doesn't sound like something I'd really want to watch, but I don't have any issue with the content as it is presented in descriptions of the movie.
I think the OP is more concerned with the idea of gay men in a movie than the ages of the people involved.
I care more about trying to make man/boy love acceptable. Gay marriage is already a thing, the next thing is to accept as normal and good man/boy love. Not too hard to figure out when it has been stated that is the end goal of many in society right now.

I would take all the people in this forum seriously if American Pie didnt have 8 films in its franchise and 3 of them including underage boys(16 and 17) having sex with college girls, camp councilors, or milfs.
There is a weird double standard in this country when it comes to sexuality. Notice, i didnt say gender, because it is common for both TVs and Movies to feature high school girls having college boy friends.
Didn't Brokeback Mountain receive some Academy Rewards? With Kevin Spacey losing his job and Weinstein scandal, Hollywood must be tone deaf to bring out movies like this right now to praise them.
Broken families all around but who cares really? Not Hollywood.

Half of those "broken families" by me are bible-thumpin' Christians, who covet neighbor's wives, who simply trade residences. Hardly a segment of society to emulate!

Nope. It’s not.
I’m as against NAMBLA as the next parent and this movie is not about man/boy love.
It’s about a young man and a slightly less young man.
