trump had no problem recognizing Ted Cruz (born in Canada of one American citizen and one Cuban citizen) or John McCain (born in Panama of 2 American citizens) as American Citizens.

But because Obama was bi-racial, trump questioned his Citizenship regardless that Obama's mother was a US citizen and her son would also be an American Citizen no matter where he was born.

actually, in that hypothetical, she would have missed the age requirement to automatically convey US citizenship by 3months to births outside the US.

but, he was born in the US so it's a moot point.
