For my family (unfortunately FAR from rich) the savings under the new bill works out to $2800 a year. Thanks Don.
lol, just make sure you understand that 1/ it is short term. 2/ 60% of the benefits go to the top 1% and if you get sick, have a reason to deduct you will end up losing out.

and it will likley cost the repubs the house, but to be honest i think they want to lose it. Having 3 three has taken away all their excuses.

And if you can't explain how Obama doubled our national debt, why do you say it?
Congress controls the budget and the republicans controlled congress for a good part of Obama's term. Anyway we are viewing those fiscal conservatives in action this week attempting to add $1.5T to the deficit. Where oh where did all those Tea Party characters disappear to that have been parroting a balanced budget for the last 8 years.

Exactly this. If the tax bill is garbage and hurts middle America, Trump will be a one term president. If it's really that bad, liberals should be hoping like hell that it passes.

The middle class is the block that keeps the foundation of the country stable.

so you support the stealing of people's money because they have more money than you?

The top 10% of income earners in America (adjusted gross income over $138,031), pay about 70.6% of federal income taxes. The bottom 50% of income earners ($39,275 or less) pay only 2.83% of federal income taxes.

So you are saying the money that the top 10% of income earners in America make is not their money but the middle class.

Lets say we looked at a married couple, same income no kids. Under the old plan, they would pay $3448, under the new one, $2472. In other words, they would pay 39.5% more under the old plan than the new one.

But heck, just keep bleating "tax cut for the rich" without checking facts. It's what liberals do.
BULL.

you are taking the first year where people actually get a few bucks and ignoring that it goes down every year over 5 years until it finally turns negative.

meanwhile the tax breaks for the mega rich phase in instead of out. thus increasing their win and going permanent, why can't you just admit this is a scam. Lure them in with promises while you crush federal revenues and make it possible to extend without adding trillions more to the debt on top of the expected 1.5 trillion borrowed to fund the cuts.

my post was honest and fair. it showed the standard deducts gains are offset by the losses. YOUR post cherry picks 1 year to make it look as good as you can.

He promised to hurt those smug coastal elites worse. Said it before, most of Trump's base would accept living in hovels and eating rats as long as they were sure that those stinkin' liberals only got half a rat.

As a regular American I believe the above is a good thing. Good for you and your family, and good for the economy when you spend that extra money.

But do you believe people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and Jeff Bezos need a tax cut?

And are these billionaires in need of extra money to either buy things or invest in new businesses?

Under Trumps tax plan 40% of the benefits go to the richest 0.1% of Americans. Do you believe the richest 0.1% of Americans need tax cuts?

He's not going to come on here and answer one question at a time. Answer's going to be longer than an internet post. That's why he wrote a book.

In plain English: the Trump tax plan are CASH GRANTS to the WEALTHY funded by PUBLIC DEBT FINANCING that all of us and our kids will pay for decades to come. This "tax reform" is like taking a cash advance out on the nation's Visa card and handing most of the cash to the wealthy and sticking you, me and our kids with the bill.
