LOL!!
That would be handing Trump another 4 years on a silver platter.
NYC cannot stand him. There is no way he would come close to winning the electorate. Might as well run Chelsea Clinton against Trump...
IMO he's a perfect choice for the whack jobs on the left and I dearly hope you Dems nominate him. If you folks think Trump has ethical issues, just wait till you get a load of De Blasio's.
Don't think so. Even though he won his last race handily, he is not popular in New York. Turnout was low.
The last public approval poll I found for de Blasio had him more popular than not, still down from his all time high. Low turnout in a non-competitive city like NYC where Democrats rule and the GOP doesn't stand a realistic chance isn't very telling either. I think if he ran for the nomination, he could be a formidable candidate. The only thing hurting him in today's rabid leftist environment is that he's a white male.
I hope he runs. It will serve to show how fantastically out of touch Democrats are with America outside of their urban enclaves. I personally think Terry McCauliffe has the best shot at the DNC nomination - with the caveat being that he will die a quick political death if Robert Mueller has even an ounce of integrity about him and expands his investigation into Russia to include the Clinton Orbit. No way McCauliffe survives that mess because he's an integral part of the Clinton web - primarily money funneling.
He's a FAR Left Marxist nut case... In other words he's the perfect Democratic Party candidate.
