I hope Pompeo keeps his independence and keeps Trump from doing anything insane. My fear is that Trump is searching for someone that has his warped view of the world and shares his delusions. That is the most disturbing scenario.
Was it Tillerson's fault or the administration in general?

Somebody is not paying attention to their Calendar. Tomorrow is the start of December and the new month.
We already had the Monthly BREAKING NEWS story that Tillerson is leaving for November.

We had a story for August, September, November ...... now it's December and another baseless story.
YES - the Beltway Elites don't like Tillerson and the State Department Careerists really don't like Tillerson.

Too Bad
So Sad
He is cleaning the fat lazy alligators out of Foggy Bottom Swamp.

Based on what I have read Tillerson is not popular at State. He apparently is trying to run the State Department as a corporation and you can't t do that. "Downsizing" the State Department in a time of perils throughout the world is reckless at best.

Honestly, the problem at State is symptomatic of an Administration that is run by amateurs. When you elect someone with no experience in government and they appoint people with little or no experience in government what you make is the classic clusterf***.

This is what happens when America hires an inexperienced "businessman" for the most important job in the world.

Preemptive action by a man under siege to insure one less affirmative vote should Section 4 of the 25th Amendment needs to be invoked.
