john dowd is arguing that a sitting president can not commit obstruction of justice because they are the cheif law enforcement.

he's literally arguing the president is above the law.

And there you have it.

Got to wonder why Nixon couldn't make this argument fly.

Which is pretty much an admission that the Orange-headed one COMMITTED obstruction of justice. There's probably lots more as well, but for that ALONE (if nothing else) Trump will be impeached.
Pretty much what the SMART people on this board have been saying all along.
Pass the popcorn.

Flynn is apparently so stupid he doesn't even know what a guilty plea is, I guess?? Or he wasn't lying to the FBI but he's lying now, by swearing in court that he's guilty.

I don't even understand the supposed logic of many of the claims being made here.

Yeah, wonder indeed.
LOL
What a stupid (and DESPERATE) argument he's made. He KNOWS it's over. It's just a matter of the process playing out.
In my opinion the longer that takes the better. I want it to drag out long enough for the stink of Trump to taint the entire GOP.

Dick Nixon deja vu.

Nixon: If President Does It That Means It's not Illegal

Of course, Nixon didn't have twitter at his disposal.

The President is NOT above the law. Ask President Nixon. I am amazed at how these people try to cover up for Trump.

The big deal 2 staff members indicted, 2 staff members plead guilty. So just what is the POTUS lying about and hiding?
From the minute he asked Comey to back off, then fired him when he didn't agree, every single action by the President shows he is afraid of what will come out in the investigation.

Flynn does serve a very useful purpose though. He was an active participant in the various processes Mueller is looking at or else witnessed them first hand.
This is a very important point. Under our system, proof is needed of allegations. We don't don't convict people based on rumor, innuendo, or general unpopularity.

If Donald Trump understood that, he'd stop blabbering constantly about Hillary Clinton belonging in prison.
