Since when do we rely on the NFL for funding of breast cancer and military charities. They are not obligated to fund anything. But there is a lot of social injustice that has been going on for quite sometime. So it's about time someone as huge as the NFL has recognized this and wants to do something about it. And btw, there should be no military charities. They go through hell to keep us safe and the federal government should make sure to take care of them when they come home. But the government doesn't. How sad is that.
I thought the alt-right Trumpy bears were already boycotting the NFL.
We are, but the idiots, the 89 Million dollar payout to Social Justice causes... Aka Marxist Causes, keep getting broadcast on our Fox News.
Until these fist raising kneelers come down off their pedestals and join the Police force to "make the system better", they can shut the hell up as far as I'm concerned.

Just remember, it's OK for a bakery to deny a gay couple a wedding cake because "they are a private business," but if the NFL decides to spend money on something the righties don't like, suddenly it's a horrible thing and a "victory for the leftists" or some nonsense.
As for the topic at hand, I doubt they'd actually do that simply because of the PR backlash. But at this point, I don't give a damn about the NFL anyway since they are nothing but a sleazy pile of corporate hypocrites. They drape themselves in the flag as examples of "What American is about!" and yet have no problem with:
Ray Rice beating the crap out of fiance; almost nothing happened until the video went viral
Ray Lewis and his likely involvement in somebody's death
Mike Vick and his sick enjoying of torturing animals; he got out of prison and the League happily took him back.
Deflate-Gate, proving it's fine to cheat, if you don't get caught up front.
The endless efforts to sweep the concussion issues and the permanent brain damage inflicted on the League's players under the rug.
Agree. The quality of people playing football today is low and getting lower. Obscene end-zone celebrations, no sportsmanship, taking plays off, it goes on. I started losing interest 10 years ago, way before the Kapernick hypocrisy took center stage.
Now I could care less.
Young people are not as interested in the NFL as they were 50 years ago.
How is this a shakedown? LMAO. I'll say what I keep saying, you American public, have always had the option to ignore kneeling. Nobody is telling you to stop a single thing about about how you view football or the playing of the anthem. Most tv games don't even show that part. LOL. People are so obsessed with putting blacks in their place they're willing to spend millions to end kneeling. And not just spend millions, but pull money from other charities to shut up a few black people. Hilarious. And on top of all of it, people like you are calling it a "shakedown" like they are showing up with guns and force. LMAO
Would you want someone to come into your place of business, and blatantly disrespect YOUR CUSTOMERS who are your sole source of revenue? People don't want politics mixed with their entertainment. It is meant to be relaxing, not disrespectful, and antagonizing. They are actively being disrespectful to the flag, anthem, and many Americans.
Why don't you ignore the Confederate statues instead of pushing to have them removed like a little snowflake because they offend you? They are just passive monuments, not active antagonism.
