Ah, I love the lunatic, right-wing responses to this!

These goofs call out for "FREEEEEDOM!!!!" and claim, somehow, that protecting cat-calls is an important part of American culture and, apparently, a great reason to vote for a bigoted sociopath like Trump.

This is the same political party that wants to monitor the bedrooms and temples for the "wrong" kind of sex and religion.

Cool!

Now, can we keep the right-wing, bible-thumping government stooges out of the bedrooms and temples in America and stop wasting our time hunting for the "wrong" kind of sex and religion?

Because you can't have it both ways. Either you're OK with that crap AND this questionable silliness in France, or you feel that neither catcalls, gay sex, or being non-Christian is something the government should be worried about.

Ah, right-wingers! They'll vote for a bigoted lunatic like Trump to protect people's "right" to harass and catcall women because "duh guberment shouldn't be minding people's business" - but then they want to use the government to marginalize people based on their sex, skin color, and religion. Whatever - hypocrites!

Another reason why Trump won. So we don't go down slippery slopes like this
I suspect the women who are campaigning for such laws are ugly left wingers nobody would wants to wolf whistle at anyway, and it's possible sometimes down to jealousy.

Womens groups such as Holloback have been campaigning for more such laws in relation to the US, UK and numerous other countries.

However most countries already have laws in place in terns of geniune harassment, whilst over stretched police depatments have better things to do with their time.

Who decides what qualifies as harassment?

You cannot write a law like this without guidelines.

What are you referring to? Who is hunting for the wrong kind of sex and religion?

And since harassment is in the eye of the beholder, it is impossible.

Are you kidding? That's what equality movements are all about. As soon as people start to realize they are never going to elevate the "oppressed class" to the same level as the "privileged class" the focus switches to tearing down the privileged to the level of the oppressed.

Leftists and their undying love for heavy handed government. It's shameful really that people are such idiots that they look to government to create laws for stuff that offends them. What a sissy world this is turning into but I'm loving it. I can't wait until all the useful idiots in America who support crap like this have to live under it. It will be sweet justice to watch them cry at what they created,
