Tax Plan Calculator by Maxim Lott

This calculator lets you very quickly see the impact of the house and senate bills, vs today's tax law.

My saving looks pretty darn good on both the House and Senate plans.

Im thinking of donating back to the government to help pay down our 20 trillion dollar debt and help pay for things like that 1 million dollar soccer field at Guantanamo bay for detainees

So.....how exactly does one utilize this calculator if at least part of your income is self employment?

I rather donate for things like the multi million dollar gas station in Afghanistan.

Under the Senate plan I'd save $16K, but only $8K under the House plan.

Both would be amazing... currently, taxtime is brutal for us since we're childfree renters.

You guys are funny. The cuts made for the top incomers are made permanent while the cuts for middle classers are due to expire in a few years. It's a pretty clever way to fool people who can't see past their partisan biases.

Seriously I bet everyone that’s seeing 3k is making less than me a year while I pay more taxes and get back less

Mine increase isn't close to what you are now able to keep of your income, but not bad either. About a 17% cut in what the government takes from me.

Are you losing some major deductions? At $150k, married filing jointly, you should save ~$2,900-more if kids are involved.
