Christmas music which is almost universally awful has been so overplayed and commercialized that a lot of people are sick of hearing it. I have a young nephew that was surprised to find out that the songs he has been hearing for years on commercials to sell cars, toys, etc. were not created by Lexus, Best Buy and other retailers.

I think it is all your head, I am bombarded by Christmas ads and music 24/7.

No. Haven't thought about it. Don't care about it. Christmas needs to stay in it's own appointed month instead of leaching into September. Because of that, I'm no fan of the holiday anymore.

When you get it right, it lasts for 25 years!

O Tannenbaum is a old, old German folk song and translates to " Oh Fir Tree", nothing to do with Christmas.

" Feliz Navidad" is Spanish for Merry Christmas.

And? Do we not get barraged with Christmas music for at least a month before Christmas? Do we really need more? If you want to hear more 24/7 Christmas music may I suggest Pandora or satellite radio stations there are several that play nothing but Christmas music.

The original War on Christmas was waged in the colonies that banned public acknoledgment and celebration of Christmas. Took subsequent waves of immigratio from all over Europe who refused to assimilate to, over time, change the culture and laws.

Some Christian sects continue to forbid holiday decor, presents, alcohol and merry making celebrations.
