Sounds like a market opportunity for an enterprising capitalist who wants to provide an alternative platform.

After all, Breitbart was built from scratch, and now has more visitors than many mainstream media sources.

It’s not a trust if your competitors are just terrible at what they do. Have you used Yahoo or Bing? Have you tried any other video platform besides YouTube their all trash.

Again I have pointed this in another thread it isn’t censorship when a private company decides that because s certain group of people are making videos that are targeted at children but are actually not for children, or in many rifling wingers case sympathetic to the alt-right, companies end up pulling advertisements and as a result the whole system suffers and everyone including the company loses revenue. No company in their right mind wants to be an advertisement for a Lauren Southern video where she talks about white nationalism. Censorship has to be by the government anything else is a company exercising their right to take down anyone they deemed advertisement unfriendly of the platform.

Even then most of the time they don’t take down videos, instead they restrict it to people age 18 and older.

Net neutrality would have helped upstarts compete against Google and YouTube. Oh, well.

It is when you have what amounts to a virtual monopoly on uploading and viewing.

And hiring 10.000 new people just to play censor signals a definite change in what and why they intend to censor.

No it wouldn't have. NN did nothing for creating competition.

Here you go Bob, you can start competing with them today:

While on the topic analysis suggests that Youtube is and has been money loser for Google, they are looking at the long term investment. You have rough road ahead of you to directly compete agaisnt Youtube and as already mentioned competing with Youtube on even playing field may not be as simple as that without NN.
