Give her a break, You know what she meant...she's ashamed of Trump as president... but wants to represent the US.

And she dumped Woods, not other way around...

Not surprising since the Winter sports people pop into view only every four years. Or when they date "celebrities".

It is not always that you can vote for the best choice or "your choice".

I believe the same happened when people voted for Obama or lacked to go to the voting boots to vote in favor of McCain and/or Romney!
not just democrats, but republicans as well. the people also got tired of politispeak as well, where politicians beat around the bush for hours and never say anything. trump does that sometimes as well, but for the most part he comes out and says things in no uncertain terms. with most politicians you have no clue as to where they stand on a subject, until their handlers tell them where to stand, but with trump you know where he stands.

personally i dont care if she likes trump or not, she can say what she wants when she wants. my issue with her is the fact that she is injecting politics further into the sports world, and this needs to stop now.

when the game starts, we are not playing democrats vs republicans vs libertarians vs independents, its lindsey vonn against her competitors, or dale earnhardt jr against his competitors, or the cowboys vs the giants, or the packers vs the vikings. lets keep politics out of sports shall we?

1. She dated Tiger Woods and was cheated on
2. Nobody represents Trump/Obama/Bush.....Its the USA
3. Russians are actually proud to represent Putin
4. The Olympics put away national pride a long time ago and are more about individual accomplishments.
5. Olympics drain the budget of host nations
6. Who cares what she thinks anyway?

Which was a good choice, IMHO.
She is a tough woman and has fought through some real battles to get to the highest level of downhill skiing. The thing that bothers me about people who take a stance against the current President, is the current POTUS is always temporary. Usually about half the people voted for the other guy. Get over it and campaign harder next election cycle. Complain all you want but respect the office. He is not the entire government, just the current CEO.

Imagine what would have happened if this moron said that about Obama... Would you be praising her for it? Or would you call her a racist, hate filled monster?

Are the Russians even going to be allowed to participate after the teams were found to use blood doping to cheat in Sochi?

Ms. Vaughn would not have said anything about Obama that all the rest of his tormenters on the right have not said already.

The Russian penalty is for cheating the tests with design features at the control center that were built into the facilities. The team is OUT! but doper individuals will be allowed to participate in the events as generic athletes.
I have no idea what your second sentence means.
