Like so many on the left, Ms Vonn does not understand she is representing the country. This Olympiad, Donald J Trump happens to be president of the United States. It changes every four or eight years. Cheap point, cheap indeed.

Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn on Wednesday criticized President Trump, saying she doesn't believe he represents the country well.
She added that she hopes "to represent the people of the United States, not the president" at the upcoming Winter Olympics.

Yep we have free speech and she is exercising hers. so good for her.
Ms. Vonn is free to say whatever she likes about the president.
In retrospect, though, her pronouncement is going to look very stupid, should she fail to win a medal. And given her long history of competing with only minimal success at the Olympics, she must know that standing on the dais is not a certainty for her.
She started the issue by making the comment. Does she feel that she can represent the US with representing Trump (what ever the hell that's supposed to mean.)
