So did a western made in 1963 but people did not go into schools and kill children in 1963. This is not on Hollywood.

Maybe EVERY man, woman and child in this country needs open carry. For surely if one of the kids would have had a gun the death toll would have been lower.

God Bless those who passed away today.

While I agree somewhat, it is the ready availability of firearms that make it possible for criminals and mentally ill people to kill so many.

Clue to the clueless: in most States, and I sure as heck know California, no one under 21 can buy or own a firearm, especially a handgun. Which means that the shooter, if a teen, stole the gun or at least had it illegally, meaning even tougher gun laws are not the answer to the problem.
My prayers go out to the families.

Guns don't kill people. It was only mental illness. Condolences, flowers, prayers.... rinse and repeat.

It's not a gun issue but a mental health issue as guns have been around for many years.

"Gunfire erupted", kind of like a volcano?

I can tell you one thing -- the shooter wasn't white.

Awesome comment! I love it when someone takes the source of their rights beyond the Constitution!

The right to possess the means of self-defense (such as guns), is a corollary of the right to self-defense, which is a corollary of the right to life.
