He's talking sense. Bitcoin has no utility other than being a digital credit. Forget about it being a currency. Currencies are not supposed to undergo rapid fluctuations.

Does it affect this guy in any way? If not, I'm not sure why his opinion is important.

So rather than giving people the option to use it, just ban everyone from using it?

Sorry, IguessI am too suspicious Con-Folks who somehow suggest the "Their Bitcoin" tho NOT having any backings with so valuable!!

For those that believe this alter-ego currency is sustainable are being desperate..

Bitcoin has ZERO Connection to any economy ( which I'm sure some Love... But when the coin falls to the basement.... Just where are the investors going to go to claim " False Advertising/or False whatever"

Bitcoin and it's alternatives have been around for over a decade.. no leverage until this past year!! Losses will no doubt occur... not to mention a lot of bellyaching post failures.... Given Current American Leadership right now.. who knows just where the Global and North America will be post Nuclear or Trade explosions that will cause Increases across the board for especially USA!!

BITCoin glut right now is nothing but a signature of loss of faith in American $ and American's leadership.. Problem is no one can hedge their losses with unpredictability ... I wouldn't putONE DIME into any currency NOT backed by anything> but some obscure entity so why invest $16,000.00 for ONE Bitcoin" with NO backing?? SMH!!

Perhaps it should be outlawed, but it's untrue to say it has no social function.

Yeah, currencies aren't supposed to undergo rapid fluctuations. Tell that to Venezuela.
