Well in this case yes but there has also been times where others have chosen to not take action for good reason, it may endanger others. Each situation is different and sometimes it turned out for the worse. Businesses certainly don't want employees getting involved, they are always told to let it go. Most felons just want the money, they are not interested in murder.

I think what this guy did was stupid and his family was lucky.

And I think what you are saying is stupid. Thugs kill people everyday that obey and do exactly what they are told to do. You would be another victim. And i don't think that you "would've pulled" if you were alone.

My old boss covered my shift after I quit. She was forced to open the register, marched to the safe and when couldn't open it he executed her.

Jeezus, it's just money. Why put your family in further danger by being obstinate? Give him your valuables to get him on his way.

Sometimes it seems to me that if a person is carrying a gun he feels an irresistible obligation to use it. Even when the better option is to not use it.
Problem is in todays world you give them your money and they shoot you anyway. Pass, plus I am far better at it than they are, not to mention that others depend, partially, on me to keep them safe

You can always come up with a reason for carrying a gun but the chances are remote, most just want money.

Note: while many may disagree with me I believe that stopping a violent assault with a deadly force is not a sin even if the assailant dies as a result. Sometimes killing people is the only solution to an assault. Many, many people in this country cannot accept this because they cannot believe killing a person is justifiable. It is always a sin to these people.
well said my friend, very well said.

And another scumbag bites the dust ( did I say that out loud); thoughts and prayers go out to this guy for doing the shooting; he most likely will have nightmares for years being forced to kill in the defense of his family.
