Heres a clue..........after all that up and down and crawling.... no way a pistol could still be in those shorts.............PLUS there was never a weapon in sight. With the way those cops had the "drop" on this guy.. no way he could have pulled a weapon, raised it to line of sight and fired before they shot him to pieces. Twice in Vietnam while flying in a free fire zone.. I saw a man running for cover.........I saw no weapon. I did not shoot those guys.......and I had every "right" to do so. This cop is a cowardly piece of crap.........

Yea seriously if the those idiotic right wing militias think they are on par with the feds they have another thing coming. They would get stomped into next week.

how come a cop , without a gun present, can say they was scared, and legally shoot and kill an innocent person.

but if a cop breaks your door down, let say it was the wrong house, you cannot defense yourself from a cop that going to shoot you if you move.

I think cops should not be able to shoot, till a gun is pointed at them. if its laying on the seat, the victim has to pick it up and POINT, at the cop. not he was reaching for it, or he would not follow instructions.

but that just my opinion, and it doesnt matter

Nice cherry pick. What I said that I get is that YOU would have done the same thing here and found a reason to shoot the guy. And you would have been just as in the wrong. This cop (who you would follow suit with) would have found something "consistent with reaching for a weapon" if the guy had managed to pull himself across the carpet with his rectum whistling Dixie out of it at the same time.

The judge in this case excluded very key and damning evidence from submission to the jury in manner consistent with a blatant cover up. Had the actual facts been presented to the jury and the true character of the officer who fired the shots been shown for what it truly is there is NO way they could have "upholded" (sic) this as a justified shooting with nothing but officer safety in mind.

The video itself is damning enough on its own. The logo on the inside of the rifle that fired the fatal rounds reading "YOUR FU**ED", had it been allowed into evidence (as it quite should have been) would have led to a detailed examination of the officers character to whom the weapon belonged. Which would have, in turn, shown him for what he is. A sadistic bully on a power trip who was popping wood at holding a mans life at the end of his index finger.

A life he fully intended to terminate when he brought his weapon to bear, but only after he had satisfied his desire to impress upon his victim just how well and truly "FU**ED" he was. How powerless to save himself and that his life was no more than a plaything for the cops amusement. If indeed "EVERY" jurisdiction has "upholded" the taking of a mans life in this situation then we need a wall to wall overhaul of EVERY jurisdictions standards of officer conduct.

In addition to that the conduct of judges and prosecuting attorneys also needs to be dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up. This case is a reeking UP YOURS straight in the face of every law abiding American citizen. It sends a clear message that we are totally at the mercy of a legal system that can completely disregard our rights, and that our very lives are only lived at the whim of that system. From the tin stars on the street to the black robes on the bench.

Innocence or guilt are just meaningless words, and both are decided at the end of some blue suited badges trigger finger. And that decision will be fully supported all the way to the top. This is truly no better than some pot metal plated warlord in some third world bung hole and his bands of roving thugs.

This incident makes a crystal clear statement that cops have absolute power on the street and that there is no recourse for the grossest violations of the rights we are supposed to have under our Constitution. That a LEO can emblazon his service weapon with death slogans, and then wantonly murder someone to satisfy some sort of perverse and sadistic desires and whims, and be exonerated by the same system that's supposed to ensure that citizens rights are protected from such corruption and abuse of authority should make us ALL angry beyond measure.

Our very lives and those of our loved ones are in the hands of a system that allows this sort of thing to happen. And you can actually give this your approval? Personally I fear for the future of my children and grandchildren.

There are some barefoot, cave dwelling peasants in Afghanistan that prove you're wrong.

If they guess wrong, they're dead. That's why when any suspect reported as armed is shot if they make a movement consistent with reaching for a weapon. By the book response. Upheld in every jurisdiction.

Slightly off topic but there was a highly questionable shooting recently in my home town of Alexandria, VA. United States Park Police shot and killed an unarmed motorist who supposedly had been involved in a minor traffic accident and then fled the scene. They caught up to him a short time later after he ran off the road and got stuck in a ditch. They then shot him three times in the head. And that's every bit of information that's been released up to this point (three weeks later). I'll bet that eventually the cops explanation will be "the subject made a motion consistent with reaching towards his waistband..." But this could get interesting: there was a county cop on the scene who got the incident on his dash cam. Supposedly it will be released after the FBI does an investigation. But so far it looks like circling the wagons, stonewalling, stalling for time, etc. You guys know the drill. By the way, the motorist's name was Bijan Ghaisar, an accountant who by all accounts was a law abiding citizen. Stay tuned.

The US could destroy them tomorrow if we fought to win. Also militia members in the US are not on par with guerrilla fighters overseas they would fold in a month tops. Your fantasy about overthrowing the government will never happen.

Not one who's already been reported as armed. Cuffed suspects have shot and killed LEOs.
