"Uncross your legs again and we will shoot you".

Imagine that. Uncross your legs and we will shoot you.

This is who we are trusting to enforce our rights and law.

Psychopaths.

Did you bother to watch the video link I posted? It’s a bit over 4 minutes long. The woman easily complied to the officer’s orders without threats. The man wasn’t able to comply with orders not once, not twice, but several times. The officers were responding to a call about someone with a gun at the hotel. Now they’re faced with a man who isn’t complying and is attempting to reach behind his back towards his waistband. The officers must assume he may have a weapon and they acted accordingly. It’s easy to armchair quarterback after the fact but that’s not the same as actually being there in the moment.

Someone with a rifle out the window which was impossible. She was instructed to do one thing. He was instructed to do many conflicting things.

They had all kinds of time and opportunity to secure him.

The cop shot because the guy reached for his waistband as you can see in the video. Granted, the whole situation could've been avoided altogether, but the shooting itself was justified.

Some people are never happy. When a cop is cleared of wrong doing liberals feel the justice system is wrong. When a cop is sentenced, liberals feel the sentence is too short.

But only in cases where a black victim is shot. If the same happens to a white person or the cop is black, then liberals are so quiet....

So after 3 or 4 minutes of contradictory and confusing commands, telling the kid to put his hands in the air and then crawl towards the cop (how was the kid supposed to crawl with his hands in the air?) the kid made the move the cop was waiting for and reached towards his back (apparently, as it turned, out to pull up his pants), at which time the cop blew him away. The kid complied as best he could for several minutes of confusing and contradictory commands shouted at a hysterical level by a deranged sounding cop. And at any time during that several minutes the kid could have easily and safely been cuffed and arrested. Earlier, retiredcop111 weighed in agreeing with most of us on this thread that this shooting was not justified and not "by the book". I value his opinion more than anything that comes from you armchair Rambos.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Did you watch the video, or just stop by to make some BS post to try and politicize liberals?

How long should an encounter go on before any move to the contrary of the cops orders doesn't end up in the the suspect being shot? 10 minutes? Twelve minutes. This kind of garbage is absurd.

How much of an opportunity do the cops need to cuff a guy before the onus is on them to end the situation without anyone ending up dead? He reached to pull his pants up. That was obvious from a grainy body cam video, it had to be much more obvious in person. Why were they even asking him to crawl in the first place? Justified.....
