Pointing a scoped weapon out a window in a public place is an example of incredibly poor judgement if not out rite stupidity, however the cops never saw the victim with any weapon, hanging out a window or in his possession. They were guessing all along.

They often search a suspect after he is cuffed.

Hmmm....Something I feel compelled to bring up, going to the mindset of this POS cop that if it were to come to light in a citizen self defense shooting. The inscription on the inside of the rifles dust cover of "YOUR FU***D. Nawwww, this cop wasn't looking for an excuse to kill someone. I suppose such embellishment on a duty weapon is "By The Book?"

And this was not allowed to be introduced into evidence either. "Unduly prejudicial." OK, Informed Consent...let's hear a defense of this, shall we? If I were to have had such an inscription on my weapon when I had to use it, I would be rotting in a cell for 1st degree murder, which is exactly where this cop should be, if not doing the hokey pokey on a short rope.

The creep may as well have had on a t shirt that said "Kill Em' All Let God Sort Em' Out." Or "Compliance Thru Superior Firepower." This varmint is nothing but a bed wetting wannabe. A sadistic murderer, who if he wasn't wearing a badge would have fried for his crime.

Yep, he's a real hero this guy. Straight up "by the book" who merely saw what his impeccable training had taught him to see. That the suspect was reaching in a manner consistent with reaching for a weapon." Only in this maggots twisted imagination.

If someone can see such a slogan on an LE weapon and still say they fully support this cop, that someone should never be allowed to own any sort of weapon, let alone a firearm. It shows both desire and intent to use lethal force for kicks. The mentality of a basement dwelling video game addict who thinks that killing someone is the ultimate rush. A sadistic and verminous personality that should be put down like a thrill killing predator.

Seriously?! A cop who has "YOUR FU**ED on the inside of their rifles dust cover....Yea...I'm waiting with extreme interest to see more defense of this cop and how this was all "by the book." That the kid was being "consistent with reaching for a weapon" and this shooting was wholly justified. It would take a blatant and unabashed boot licker to defend this creep.

It's hard to believe this little snippet hasn't been center stage in this discussion....

No suspect is cuffed before first being made to do the hokey pokey to exacting standards while an AR15 is trained on them.

Yea...An AR 15 held by a psycho cop with "YOUR FU**ED" emblazoned on the dust cover. Standard departmental logo.

Can't say that enough times.
You ducked the question. So I'll try another tack. In any situation similar to this one (I'm speaking hypothetically here) would it be proper procedure for a police officer to scream hysterically, issue absurd and impossible to follow commands, and make death threats?

The trial transcript would suffice.
No, they didn't. All they knew was that there was a report of a person pointing a rifle in that room. As far as the cops knew, the room number might have been wrong. The call could have been wrong. Maybe the witness who made the call was mistaken. There was no evidence that the man and woman were a threat. They didn't act in a threatening manner. They acted confused and scared. The police should have assessed the situation that was in front of them and realized that these were not hostiles. Making the assumption that these two people posed a deadly threat to the police made no sense given the evidence.

And why didn't they cuff them once they got them on the ground? It surely wasn't because they were worried about a threat from the room because they stood outside the door of that room after they killed that man and tried to get in using a key card. If there was a hostile in the room, he could have shot those cops down through the door as they stood there. And they stood there for a long time and then left after they couldn't get the key card to work (since they were trying to open the wrong door). They didn't even try to kick down the door. How serious of a situation did the police think it was that they just left after failing to get the key card to work?

Why post on a subject you know nothing about? Guns are found on subjects AFTER they are cuffed all the time. As soon as it's safe you cuff the subject, THEN you finish searching them.

They didn't cuff him after he was killed.

You lackwits had better think twice about wanting a police state and a complete disarming of citizens if you didn't like what this video showed.
