I wonder if Trump is stupid enough to fire Mueller. I know he's not too swift, but surely he realizes if he fires him, he's basically impeaching himself.

Perhaps the title of this thread should be changed. It encompasses a lot more than just "what happens when Trump fires Mueller".

Mueller should have been fired months ago. The "investigation" is a sham, a political witch hunt. Everyone knows it except the whiners who can't believe Trump actually won.

Look, if Mueller wanted the Trump transition’s emails, he should have gone through the appropriate channels: Guccifer 2.0, GRU, and Wikileaks.

Yeah, I made a thread about the WH statements on the emails and legal experts explaining why the WH's argument is legally wrong, and it got merged into this thread.

It would be nice to have a separate set of threads or a better main thread.

I really dislike the pretense that is in the OP, someone must have info that the rest of us dont have because they say "When" not "If" as if it is a predetermined conclusion even though it really isnt.

The only ones who consider it a sham or witch hunt are Trump and his minions. Everyone else knows the truth will be found.

Comey broke the federal law on many occasions.

He fired him because of the Russia thing. He said it when he was interviewed by Lester Holt, but you already knew that.

You have to wonder if Mueller is daring Trump to fire him. The Russian fairy tale has slipped out of his fingers and the best way Mueller and crew could hurt Trump now is by forcing Trump’s hand to pull the trigger on Mueller.
you're just upset to find out that MUELLER played trumps entire admin.

If you think he broke the law, please please point to the text....

but you won't will you dockside. You will whine, you will be angry but you won't quote the text will you?

Why?

i have read the entire text of the 1963 bill and scanned the many amendments and guess what? NOWHERE is there a special provision providing privacy or confidentiality for the transition team..
My guess is you have not read it, my guess is you don't know what is in it. I believe you are just repeating propaganda from Fox...

cool and i really don't like the way Trumpers on this forum keep pretending Mueller has found nothing.

so far 4 people are charged with serious crimes and judging by the data the public has a whole bunch more will be. Proving that Trump was involved in the plot is hard, but it is clear there was a plot and that many of trumps staff were fully aware of it.
