But as a resident of Colorado I can only guess where you get your tax information from. Where ever it is, you should disconnect yourself from the source because it is simply flay wrong.

Anyone who states there have been no tax gains in the states that have legalized doesn't live on this planet.
not to mention that tax gains are just a small part of it. Commercial real estate in CO has been booming and some of that is directly related to marijuana for retail stores and warehouses. Not exclusively, of course, because the economy as a whole is doing well here, and legal marijuana is a part of our economy.

There are still plenty of drugs for gangs and cartels to market in, meth, cocaine, heroin and plenty of activities like prostitution for them to profit from.

Yet I don't see you blaming Big Pharma which is the MAIN reason we have such a major drug problem today.

Regardless of what happens now, this is certainly an own-goal by the Trump administration.

By rescinding the memo and not providing leadership with a plan for next steps, they have created uncertainty for a growing industry that employs a growing number of people, in a growing number of states.

That's just not good politics.

I guess most Trump supporters agree with going after marijuana. They're proving that they're out of the mainstream, once again.

Yup, just like when they wanted Free states to enfore their slavery laws. This is the southern United States exerting its stupid right wing religious extremism on the rest of us thru Alabama sessions. I will bet the South is one of the few spots that opposes marijuana use by all.
