But that is both the law and the custom in our society. Feel free to seek out more patriarchal societies where men do maintain more control over women. But you will also find that they don't have dating including sexual intimacy among unmarried couples in those societies.
Maybe try building your fantasy "men get to have all the no strings attached sex they want but still get to control what women do" utopias.
