We could have benefitted in many ways, but instead we get nothing in return. Your imagination is horribly limited. Help with war on terror, import/export deals, get business deals for American companies, military deals, diplomatic gains, improved intelligence sharing etc, etc.....

Opps. Do you think we made them mad?

Too bad.

You know this is a 'nothing' answer.... just a bunch of generalities. If it didn't happen with the great negotiator Obama, Trump wasn't be able to do anything either - right?

Obama and Bush did not even try, because they figured the negatives outweigh the possible gains (are there any?). Their advisors also told them it was a bad idea, which is what they told Trump too. The embassy we built in Baghdad cost the taxpayer almost a billion dollars, plus providing security is costing a lot on annual bases. Same will be true with the Jerusalem embassy. However, if we insist on building one, we should have negotiated a better deal, which did not happen.

Okay. Best quit rolling your eyes cause you are missing what's going on today. In the name of Mohammad all matter of Muslims are attacking and killing; Christians, homosexuals and unwilling farm animals. And if you didn't notice in supposed peace loving islam the religion is the government. That's what you need to be concerned with.

CAIR Director Outside White House: Trump ‘Empowering Christian Religious Extremism’

Awad referred to evangelicals as an “extremist religious group” for supporting Trump’s decision to move the embassy under a 1995 law.

So the law was already written, and there has been almost 20 years of waivers delaying what was supposed to be done in 1999. Trump finally followed the law.

---------------------

Then the CAIR leader said...

“Unfortunately, he appeased an extremist religious group in the United States, the evangelicals, who somehow erroneously believe that God commands injustice by recognizing the Israeli occupation of Palestine."

Now nevermind that he is part of a religion that supports murder to advance Islam... to the point that the United Arab Emirates has designed CAIR as a terrorist group.

--------------------

Also...

Following Jammal’s speech, protesters chanted, “No justice, no peace”; “hey hey, ho, ho, the occupation has got to go”; “justice is our demand, no peace on stolen land” and “hands off Jerusalem.”

Who does that sound like? That's right out of the Soros handbook of protesting.
LOL. Any review of the anti-minority comments here on CD tells you that CAIR is 100% correct on this.
