David Brinkley NEVER hosted Meet The Press. In fact at one time after Brinkley jumped shipped to ABC, his show, This Week With David Brinkley, actually ran opposite MTP.

Brinkley was a wheel (& a stud) on NBC (in the 60s and 70s). Todd is a wheel (& more of a beta male than a stud) on NBC (now). The contrast between Brinkley & Todd is pretty striking to anyone who has watched them both. (As is the difference between Jordan and Lee...which is why I made the comparison).

I never said anything about Meet the Press. Who cares about Meet the Press? They were (or are) both newsmen for NBC (which i found depressing given the few times I've watched the minor leaguer Todd on TV.) I haven't watched "meet the press" in a couple decades.....perhaps he's been on other programs? So Dot.....why are you putting words in my mouth & then calling me liar. Why are you attacking me?

& Finally......the most dangerous place in place in Houston Texas used to be 4th Ward....but now it's the 8 feet distance between Sheila Jackson Lee and a TV News Camera.
