Yes. That should be demonstrative of a completed sentence. They have done their punishment as assigned. Our Country needs to get back on track of being kinder and gentler. Too much punish, then punish some more. Tough on crime platform got way out of control.
I see it in the schools and we feel it with taxation.

Either that or excuse them from paying any taxes. Taxation without representation ring any bells?
I was talking about prisoners voting while incarcerated. Gang members, murderers, and pedos should not be allowed to vote while in prison, but other prisoners should be able to.

Once someone has served their sentence they should be able to vote, obviously. .

Yes they should. Once the penance for a crime has been paid, your right to vote among other rights, should be re-instituted. Hard to follow the logic behind not allowing them to vote.

Nobody who is incarcerated or under supervision should be able to vote. After that absolutely.

The US (outside of Maine and Vermont) and Britain are the only countries with common law systems that don't allow prisoners to vote.

Even Canada allows prisoners to vote (other than those who have been convicted of murder or sex crimes against minors)
