It’s not all of a sudden, nor is it just one professor. And yes, I think these -studies sociology courses are brainwashing people. There are numerous examples of students protesting speakers to the point of violence, claiming they don’t feel safe on campuses because of daily violence and oppression, but don’t ask for specifics because they cannot give you any. They have so much trouble naming actual oppression that they’re making racist hate crimes up out of whole cloth.
You can pretend you aren’t aware of this, but it’s happening.
You can't be serious. Have you ever taken a sociology class?
And do you really think it promotes a healthy learning environment when people's 8 year old children are screaming at you and calling you a "wh*re" while you're just trying to walk to class? And for the record, that didn't uappen to me personally but I witnessed it happen to younger students. And the university allows these "speakers" because they don't want a lawsuit.
Well if white people like the song then it must be racist.
You know, I have noticed that if a black musical artist seems to have more whites as fans than blacks or other minorities, they tend to be outed by their own people as coons or uncle toms.

I have no clue what you’re talking about with 8 year old children calling people wh*re. A little context might help.
not this song. I don't care either way. But there ARE lots of other little jingles and songs that came from racism towards blacks. Like eenie meenie minie mo. But yeah, just reading through article about this, the main thing I saw is that the song was apparently first performed at a minstrel show.
Except that that is a lie.
It was first performed at a Thanksgiving church service.
Exactly. Most Fox News/Trump supporters will never set foot in Boston University or anything close to that type of educational institution yet somehow some wacky musings by a professor there are bringing all Christmas tradition crashing to the ground.
Trump voters are much better educated than HRC voters.

Probably not. The complete song is quite racy for its day.
