Geez, Bernie has really confused so many.

Scandinavian countries are not good examples of democratic socialism in action because they aren’t socialist.

In the Scandinavian countries, like all other developed nations, the means of production are primarily owned by private individuals, not the community or the government.

While it is true that the Scandinavian countries an extensive welfare state is not the same thing as socialism. What Sanders and his supporters confuse as socialism is actually social democracy, a system in which the government aims to promote the public welfare through heavy taxation and spending, within the framework of a capitalist economy. This is what the Scandinavians practice. Someone's got to work and pay for the freebies

That’s why I had the “more than three”’ threshold set.

Sanders has convinced a great deal of people that socialism is something it is not. Sweden and Denmark are a free-market capitalist with a large welfare state which includes many policies that socialists don't support, for example...

The use of local public funds, in the form of vouchers, to finance their child’s education.

Minimum wages are decided by bargaining between unions and employers. There is no govt imposed floors.

Socialists are opponents of global capitalism and free trade, but the Scandinavian countries rank in the top 10 easiest countries to do business in.

Also regressive taxation on the poor.

The millennials will be debt slaves for the rest of their lives. And that’s if they’re smart enough to get into college. If not, they’ll be competing with illegal immigrants for minimum wage jobs.

Either way, millennials are screwed.
Yep they will but you're blaming the wrong people. Any time govt gets involved the result is inflated costs then a resulting crash. History shows many examples of this. Bernie's wife is a college administrator (who caused the bankruptcy of Burlington College, what better way to get more money than to get her husband to call for free college for everyone.

Education institutions know we're heading into the crash phase so they want tools like you demanding "free education" for everyone. In other words, they want more tax payer money.

You might want to demand that higher education institutions stop being so greedy.

I doubt anyone would volunteer to pay taxes.

that's kinda the whole point of taxes, you know? That they're supposed to apply across the board.

Did you notice that in five subsequent pages of posts no one discusses your post except me. These Republicans believe that FOX news is an adequate substitute for education, science, and economics, and that is dangerous.
The US is slightly behind the EU in our level of permeation of democratic socialism. The category of socialism being defined by any oligarch or their media sycophants, right or left, is the Orwellian version because it sounds the most scary to the people they are trying to frighten. That is not exclusive to the Right or the Left, both use the same scary story for the same goal - to get people to accept the Fabian, happy, voluntary version of socialism.

And if Republicans believe, as you claim, that "FOX news is an adequate substitute for education, science, and economics" then the exact same thing can be said about Democrats and NYT, CNN, MSNBC et al. Everyone, right or left, uses media narrative to be given opinions and stances rather than do the hard work of actually learning anything. All ideology does is dictate which sources you will seek out to confirm your predetermined notions.

And if you doubt for a second that both parties play the same game the same way, look no further than how quickly and resolutely the two parties and their partisans will lock arms whenever anyone spouting individualism/libertarianism/voluntaryism gains any sort of national traction even for a few hours. The reason is because (whether partisans wish to accept this reality or not) they are all members of the same Fabian cult of oligarchs, and they have the exact same end goal - the masses voluntarily enslaving themselves to provide the oligarchy with entrenched, immutable power.
